What you’ll do:

Position title: SAP Fieldglass iXp Intern – Data Visualization Strategist

Location: Naperville, IL. – please note that roles will be remote until local guidelines ensure safe office reopenings

Expected start date to end date: June 7, 2021 – August 13, 2021

In this role, you’ll:

• Make suggestions and have ideas on report and dashboard layouts as you will help document requirements, design, and build dashboard reports.
• Ensuring the final visualization layouts are in line with the design requirements.
• Interest in Java, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Willingness to learn all components of the Fieldglass application so you understand what questions to ask; and how to turn our data into metrics and then insights.
• Familiarity with SQL and SQL Server.
• He, She, or They will take Fieldglass application business data and deliver data-driven insights that will help improve the effectiveness and usefulness of our Fieldglass application.
• Comfortable with communicating with cross-functional teams to understand data pain points with the intent of maximizing data value.
• He, She, or They must be organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
• He, She, or They will have the opportunity to be creative and turn ideas into tangible use.

Who you are:

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Candidates who is currently enrolled in the final year of an undergraduate, masters degree program which is applicable to the position (computer science or equivalent proven experience).
• Strong communication skills that include the ability to effectively design and document requirements.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment working with multiple teams across various geographies.
• Preferred experience: SQL, Excel are also valuable to help gather, measure, organize, and analyze data.
• Nice to have interest in Java, JavaScript (JQuery, HighCharts).
