    ABOUT THE ROLE:

     

    The SAP Fieldglass Marketing team is looking for a highly motivated, self-started to help build the brand in the marketplace and drive sales. As a Marketing Intern, you will be exposed to a wide range of marketing and event planning activities. You will support administrative duties for key stakeholders and assist with the execution of events, helping with webinars, tradeshows and signature events to help build the SAP Fieldglass brand. This is a perfect opportunity for an individual with a “doer” mentality. During your internship, you will learn tactical communications skills, while gaining knowledge of strategic marketing campaigns.

     

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    EXPECTED START DATE TO END DATE: June 3, 2019 - August 10, 2019

    IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL:

    • Support the Marketing team by coordinating travel arrangements, ordering and maintaining supplies, reviewing incoming correspondence and preparing responses
    • Assist with the execution of our events programs to support SAP Fieldglass business and specific program goals
    • Help track and report on post-event engagement
    • Support internal communications, reporting and other activities, as needed
    • Manage timelines and support budgeting
    • Assume responsibility of special marketing programs, as needed
    • Cataloging and outlining video footage captured during key SAP Fieldglass events

    • Pursuing bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration or PR
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; excellent proofreading skills
    • Exceptionally organized, detail oriented
    • Flexible, positive and a self-starter with ongoing enthusiastic interest to learn new skills
    • Ability to be accountable to often urgent deadlines and work under pressure
    • High levels of tact and diplomacy
    • Experience with planning and managing events is preferred
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, especially when working with vendors, customers, senior executives, sales teams and business partners
    • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; CRM and online event registration system experience is a plus
