    ABOUT THE TEAM

    Next-Generation Cloud Delivery program (also referred internally at SAP as One Strike) is a Best Run TopX program to accelerate our move to the cloud transitioning the majority of our cloud solutions to run on state-of-the-art offerings, currently including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Alibaba Cloud ("4"), as well as our SAP Cloud infrastructure ("+1"), or “4+1” offerings, by the end of 2022. For Global Cloud Services One Strike means transforming our cloud infrastructure and operations to increase availability, responsiveness, and performance for our customers.

     

    As part of the GCS COO Cloud Experience Management office you will join the ORGANIZATION CHANGE MANAGEMENT workstream who manages a broad range of activities to support all 2000+ employees on their transformation journey. The workstream is organized along agile project management principles and the team manages its tasks in Jira. We are looking for someone to support the Product Owner with applying agile practices and project management in Jira

     

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    Position title: SAP Global Cloud Services iXp intern - Infrastructure Migration

    Location: Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, please note that roles will be remote until local guidelines ensure safe office reopenings

    Expected start date to end date: September 2021  or earlier (Targeted start) for 6 Months

     

    IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL:

     

    During the internship/fellowship, you will support the One Strike Organization Change Management workstream with:

    • Complete courses for Scrum and Agile to reach the Green Belt level of the ‘Agile – No-Ops Dojo Community
    • Co-lead bi-weekly Sprint Planning and Sprint Review sessions
    • supporting workstream team members with backlog refinement and user story creation in Jira
    • Facilitate bi-weekly Sprint Retrospective
    • Learn healthy Scrum and Agile practices
    • Represent the workstream in GCS Communities of Practice (CoPs)
    • Organize and support learning community events

    We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Basic understanding of Agile mindset and practices
    • Comfortable with project management principles & practices
    • Quick adopter of new tools
    • Great communication and collaboration skills to work in a global team
    • Flexible to work across multiple time zones
    • Previous experience in design thinking, user experience, user story writing is a big plus
    • Can-do attitude with high organizational and time management skills

     

    LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES

    • Practice time-management and meeting facilitation for daily scrum meetings and bi-weekly Sprint Planning, Review, and Retrospective meetings
    • Learn Agile principles and Scrum methodologies
    • Learn using an agile project management tool (Jira)
