Key Responsibilities & Tasks

Seeking conscientious individual who has a strong desire to learn and contribute in a fast paced, growing environment. The role will primarily be working with the Finance Operations team to:

• Assist in analyzing the financial business processes & internal controls by liaising with the finance business users and project team to help document the ‘as-is’ environment
• Learn how to use the NS2 Financial system product suite and about how the integration works across systems and applications to help look for areas of improvement/streamlining
• Help to analyze system improvement priorities, on-going projects, budgets, and tracking costs as they relate to the system improvement initiatives
• Help to develop & maintain a 5 year roadmap of system initiatives, related to the overall strategy, scalability, and financial objectives of SAP NS2
• Gather and document new business requirements and review project team’s functional specifications to ensure that requirements are being met
• Gather data to help with the evaluation of new financial tools, as needed
• Troubleshoot user, business process, and system issues and help to overcome the challenges efficiently and timely
• Track system defects and enhancements from prioritization to development to deployment
• Test new financial system functionality with business users, including prototypes, and documenting the outcome, including documenting issues found
• Create training materials for new functionality and incorporating that training into the Business Process documentation
• Aid in rolling out new functionality to the business community and tracking usage, as needed
• Document and advocate system support processes with the business users
• Ad hoc financial work as required to help NS2 Finance meeting parent reporting requirements timely
• Maintain master data between systems and learning how to do system data transfer to the parent, including tracking and resolving issues

Education Requirements

• Finance or Accounting major working towards a college degree or a recent college graduate
• Must have advanced Excel skills to include knowledge of advanced macros, VLOOKUPS, and pivot tables
• IT background is helpful
• Experience with SAP preferred
