    KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY AND TASKS

    • The SAP NS2 Legal/Contracts team is seeking a Contracts Assistant Intern. In this role, you will work closely with the contract and legal team which will enable you to acquire knowledge, experience and expertise relating directly to the Federal, Public-Sector and commercial software contracting.  In this capacity you will be given an opportunity to network and establish business relationships.

     

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Contracts/Legal Intern major duties and responsibilities:

     

    • Organize and maintain contract database, corporate policies, and other legal and corporate information as needed.
    • Review and recommend changes to standard processes to streamline and optimize operational efficiencies with respect to department processes.
    • Review and maintain standard agreement templates with an opportunity to author new agreement templates as needed.
    • Work on special projects which may include data-mining and other similar duties as assigned.
    • Learn to generate and prepare standard contractual agreements such as, but not limited to Non-Disclosure and Teaming Agreements and contract close-outs, as well as supporting the proposal response process.
    • Must be capable of working independently while managing competing priorities while keeping management fully informed.
    • Ability to clearly communicate in both verbally and in writing is imperative, writing samples may be required of candidates selected to interview.
  • Qualifications

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

    • Recent graduates considered if within six (6) months of their graduation date
    • Current students must be enrolled in college credited courses

     

    MOBILITY REQUIREMENTS

    • Travel: 0-20%
