    PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:

    The S/4HANA Logistics Associate Consultant (Nearshore) will be a member of our Solution Delivery Center (SDC) organization. The SDC is the integrated, remote delivery arm of SAP consulting services, with strength of over 2000 team members. From our near shore and offshore centers, our global talent pool of consultants delivers software and services to customers through both factory and traditional people-based approaches. Our team drives value and continuous improvement for our customers using operationally sound processes and basic quality system fundamentals.

    Our Pittsburgh based near-shore center expands SAP’s delivery capabilities within the North American region. We provide SAP’s customers access to the best global network of consultants with expertise in SAP’s latest technologies. The Pittsburgh near shore center is a sophisticated Service & Knowledge organization providing unique capabilities to SAP’s customers in North America and around the globe.

     

    The Associate Consultant will drive the delivery outcome in partnership with our customers on their journey to cloud, from scoping and planning of the initial deployment through to continuous adoption of  quarterly updates. The S/4HANA Logistics Associate Consultant role requires understanding of the S/4HANA process across functional borders, as well as a service-oriented attitude with the aim to achieve customer success.

     

    This role will be at the core of our customers and of SAPs success and is primarily a hands on delivery function, accountable for the successful go-live of S/4HANA  deployments for SAP service engagements.

     

    Overall Responsibilities and Tasks:

    • Support customer success, satisfaction, and referenceability for S/4HANA  customers
    • Learn the S/4HANA product portfolio, process areas and best practices
    • Work within the SAP Activate methodology and in an agile delivery model to drive customer deliverables.
    • Work within an on/off-site delivery approach, leveraging the entire SAP ecosystem to drive quicker deployments with a predictable outcome.
    • Conduct Fit to Standard Workshops and identify scoping, configuration, GAPs and Integration points.
    • Actively manage the data migration effort, with thorough understanding of data field mapping and upload.
    • Responsible for the testing approach, execution and successful outcome.
    • Support Enablement of Customer and drive cutover processes
    • Support the industrialization of the implementation process to improve the timeline of deployments
    • Drive the adoption of the value based innovation roadmap and guide the customer in their journey
    • Plan and personalise the customer journey while maintaining global scalability and consistency
    • Provide services solutioning support through understanding the customer requirements and producing Scope, Effort and timeline estimates and approach for service delivery.
    • Ability to multi-task and work across multiple engagements in parallel.

     

    Operational Management

    • Responsible for high quality delivery in all assigned S/4HANA  customers
    • Ensure on time & quality delivery.
    • Live the Digital Business Service strategy for S/4HANA
    • Ensure cross-LoB collaboration, industry best practice and team work
    • Manage “business outcomes” based on customer business KPIs

    EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Business, Information Systems, STEM or other relevant major
    • Completion of SAP course/certifications or project work through academics is a plus
    • Must be able to work as a team player yet have the ability to work independently.
    • Analytical, results-driven and have a solution-oriented approach.
    • Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including verbal, written presentation and listening.
    • Open to travel up to 60%
    • Willing to relocate to Pittsburgh.

     

    FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:

    • Functional experience in the areas of ERP and Supply Chain preferred
    • Knowledge in Business Process integration concepts across other Business process areas like Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales and Operations Management is a plus
    • Business requirement analysis and design is a plus
    • Ability to apply the concepts of SAP learning into real time project/Customer business requirements.
    • Cloud concepts and understanding

     

    WORK EXPERIENCE:

    • 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in a corporate environment through internships or recent work experience
    • Prior experience involving client/customer interaction is a plus
