    PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The products and services provided by SAP to customers often comprise important parts of our customers’ operating environments. Customers rely on SAP to execute controls and leverage them for their internal business purposes although outsourced to SAP. Accordingly, SAP products and services are regularly audited and/or assessed by third party external auditors.

The Security Compliance Competence Center (S3C) is located within the Security, Risk & Compliance (SR&C) team which is part of the SAP Global Security organization. SR&C serves, amongst others, to coordinate and facilitate security audits (i.e., third party audits, certifications and customer audits) from start to finish.

The SR&C team helps SAP customers maintain their compliance status by providing third party audit reports such as ISO certifications or SOC attestations. Using these reports and certificates, the customer can map contents and results to its own compliance framework and/or use them to demonstrate its own compliance to its auditors and/or regulators. S3C is responsible to make these certifications and audit reports available to SAP customers, prospects and other legitimate stakeholders (customer’s auditors, regulators, etc.). Further, SR&C uses automation services to automate audit coordination and facilitation. These services are developed, maintained and operated by S3C.

As a Security Compliance Support Associate you will be appointed to the Security Compliance Competence Center. The role is contributing to run and improve SR&C’s operations support processes and functions. A key focus will be to support building up a central service desk function for SR&C, including the introduction/adaption of a service management tool.
