ABOUT THE TEAM:

We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern with a solutions-oriented mindset . As a part of the Engineering group you will be working in a fast-paced agile development team  collaborating with other engineers in 3 global locations,  while having fun on the job.

• You will have the opportunity to work on tasks that  directly impact our customers at an enterprise level, and  participate in all software life-cycle management activities from  requirements analysis to complete ownership of your code. In short you will be working on a platform that is a  highly customizable Enterprise cloud-based SaaS Reporting/Analytics offering. SuccessFactors Reporting and Analytics is the platform that offers key insights that help drive the productivity of employees, and  channel the business towards efficient HR management.

• You are looking for an  opportunity to jumpstart your ability to build production ready code.

• You are a quick learner who recognizes the benefits of evaluating different technologies  from Java to .Net to HANA   as you build your solution and career.

• You will gain exposure to the lean development infrastructure process including Git and Jenkins  and understand Continuous Delivery practices.

• Automate your code coverage.

• Work closely with the team to deliver results on time.

WHO YOU ARE:

We’re looking for someone who can challenge the status quo and likes to stay curious. You enjoy working on meaningful projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Requires candidates to currently be enrolled in an undergraduate or Masters program whichever is applicable to the position.
• Excellent programming skills in Java, or .Net
• Good Database concepts and exposure to at least one Database technology
• Ability to work collaboratively with the senior members of the development team in a very dynamic and adaptive environment.
• Hands-on programming experiences in UI , Javascript is a plus.
• Exposure to OOAD, algorithms, data structures and design patterns.
