ABOUT THE TEAM:

The SuccessFactors CTO Office is seeking a Project lead for a strategic project to pull together a target state technology view at SAP SuccessFactors. We are in the process of creating an interactive technology map in an HTML, CSS, Json based format.  In this role you’ll provide deep technical support, create microlearning videos, make tool enhancements in an open contribution model.  You’ll also provide insights to teams on creating runtime architecture views of their target state architecture by building a knowledge base.  A successful candidate should have good communication skills, be able to work independently, as they will be coached and supported on an ongoing basis, but not supervised daily.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

POSITION TITLE: SAP SuccessFactors iXp Intern - CTO Capability Architecture

LOCATION: Virtual, USA

EXPECTED START DATE TO END DATE: June 8th, 2020 – August 14th, 2020

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL:

• Provide technical support over slack channel
• Generate & Modify json files for consumption to create a view for technology maps (CityMap)
• Build a how-to knowledge base by pulling together existing documentation and creating new documentation for building runtime architecture views
• Communicate & co-ordinate with Senior & Chief Architects across SuccessFactors

Additional responsibilities may include:

• Setting up an open contribution model for the CityMap tool
• Contributing code to the CityMap tool through creative enhancements
• Managing a JIRA based backlog for enhancements prioritization

WHO YOU ARE:

  We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.  

• Major in Computer Science or related fields
• ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY WITH MINIMAL SUPERVISION FROM OTHER TEAM MEMBERS
• BE ABLE TO HANDLE WORKING REMOTELY
• Experience with json, css, html
• Experience with JIRA is a plus
• Strong verbal & written communication and presentation skills
• Ability to execute at a fast pace and be extremely responsive
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
• Good at follow ups and following through demands from teams
• Ability to co-ordinate across different time zones (Europe, India, China, US East and West coast)
