ABOUT THE TEAM

The SuccessFactors Tech Strategy team is seeking a Process & project lead for Architectural Governance process based on existing framework.  In this role you’ll work with lead architects to define & implement the process using tools such as JIRA and confluence.  A successful candidate should have good communication skills, be able to work independently, as they will be coached and supported on an ongoing basis, but not supervised daily.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Position title: SAP SuccessFactors iXp Intern – Technology Governance

Location: Palo Alto, CA – please note that roles will be remote until local guidelines ensure safe office reopenings

Expected start date: ASAP(January or February 2022 start)  for 6 months

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL:

• Develop processes based on existing frameworks to drive technology standards and design decisions
• Socialize the technology decisions process with architecture community
• Apply tools such as JIRA, Confluence to implement the process
• At times do the leg work to collect & Organize data
• Interact & communicate with engineering leaders, architects & product managers. Work with Program Management to enable the process
• Assist in defining KPIs (outcome metrics) to drive the process outcome of creation and adoption of standards. Use data analytics to measure these KPIs.

Additional responsibilities may include:

• Creating communication of standards for the broader development community

WHO YOU ARE:

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
• Be humble and get feedback/input from teams on the ground
• Be able to handle working remotely•
• Major in Computer Science or related fields at undergrad
• Masters in Busines Administration
• Strong verbal & written communication and presentation skills
• Know when a process becomes too heavy to successfully implement
• Ability to execute at a fast pace and be extremely responsive
• Good at follow ups and following through demands from teams
• Ability to co-ordinate across different time zones (Europe, India, China, US East and West coast)
• Be Org savvy to work with higher ups (CTO level)
