About the team

SAP User Experience drives SAP’s UX mission across the entire solution portfolio with an amazing, multidisciplinary team of designers, user researchers, product managers, developers, architects, and more. To enable a user-centric development of products, we provide guidelines, tools and services, such as the SAP Fiori design system. In close collaboration with all SAP solution areas, we design, develop, deliver, and showcase the new experience for enterprise users to work on any device.

SAP UX Creative Lab is part of the SAP User Experience organization. As an in-house content marketing team, we create high-quality multimedia content around the value of SAP's UX to reach and engage our global audience. Located in Germany and the U.S., we collaborate remotely and on-site (COVID-19 restrictions apply) in a creative, dynamic, and fast paced work environment. What you’ll do:

Position title: SAP UX Creative Lab iXp Intern – Media Production

Location: Palo Alto, CA, US

Expected start date: April 2021

Contract Duration: 6 months

Office Location: Remote (same time zone preferred)

In this role, you’ll:

Work remotely with our team and be responsible for concept creation, text review, media capture, and postproduction. Through your multimedia productions you will have an impact on a massive scale and will reach strategic customers, partners and their users. Other responsibilities include archiving content, and media management.

Who you are:

We’re looking for someone who

• takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious
• likes to work on meaningful innovative projects and is energized by lifelong learning
• approaches projects with the vision and insight of a producer, director and editor

With experience and skills in

• storytelling/storyboarding applicable across multiple channels and media (video, photo, sound) that can be used to engage and inform our users
• video editing (advanced: Adobe’s Creative Cloud suite including Premiere Pro CC, After Effects, and Audition)
• graphic/image editing (advanced: Adobe tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Lightroom)
• operating a variety of camera setups, audio equipment and lights highly preferred

You must be currently enrolled in a college or university; or within 6 months after graduation to qualify for this position.

Strong communication, both verbal and written
