    The Role:

    The User Experience Researcher Intern will utilize both Qualitative and Quantitative methodologies that meld product team’s objectives and continuous user research into a compelling user experience.

    Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Work as part of a larger multi-disciplinary product team that includes product managers, business owners, UX designers, UX writers, and engineering to Identify key research questions and plans for research initiatives with your UX research lead

    Support lead UX researcher to conduct user studies to evaluate new and existing products

    Participate in end-to-end research cycles, often work together with a lead UX researcher: help determining the appropriate sample size and limitations, create participant screeners, create discussion guides, run user study sessions, take notes and log data, run data syntheses, create research reports, present key findings, log UX bugs, and suggest UX improvements of the product.

    User research methodology focused on evaluative studies including, usability testing, cognitive walkthroughs, in-depth interviews, contextual inquiries, low/ high fidelity prototype testing, survey designs, and descriptive statistics.

    Work collaboratively with multiple key stakeholders.

    What you bring:

    • We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
    • Graduated from bachelor’s degree in psychology, anthropology, sociology, human-computer interaction, or related field is required. Enrollment in or graduation from master's or PhD degree is highly preferred.
    • Foundational understanding of a variety of qualitative and quantitative user experience research methodologies.
    • Good oral, written and communication skills with the ability to listen and articulate positions.
    • Open to learn variety of research methods & user-centered design, and modern research tools (e.g., User Zoom, UserTesting)
    • Open to learn common product development lifecycles as well as Agile/Lean UX methodologies

    All candidates must provide samples of recent research or related academia projects (or professional if they have any)

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 0 - 0(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
