ABOUT THE TEAM

The Platform Adoption & Advisory team works with SAP customers to help them adopt the Business Technology Platform. We’re a global team, comprised of designers, engineers, data scientists, and business experts, working primarily from Palo Alto and Germany, though we have a few colleagues in other locations as well! We build a proof of concepts on the BTP and turn the best ones into repeatable use cases for all of our customers.  

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

POSITION TITLE: SAP iXp Intern- BTP Use Case Factory Software Developer LOCATION: Virtual, USA EXPECTED START DATE: September 2021 (6 Months)  

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL:

•    Be part of the Use Case Factory, a transformative initiative to bring repeatable BTP use cases to customers, partners, and SAP colleagues •    Contribute code samples for BTP integration, extension, and data to value capabilities and publish the results to GitHub where customers can consume them •    Interact with customers and partners to receive feedback on existing use cases and propose improvements •    Learn about other SAP cloud solutions and how the BTP brings value to them  

WHO YOU ARE:

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

•    Ability to work independently on project-related tasks such as defining requirements, writing and checking in code, and creating documentation •    Interest in speaking with customers, partners, and other SAP teams to identify the next generation of BTP use cases •    Bachelor’s degree in computer science field or equivalent experience •    Knowledge of one or more development languages such as Python, NodeJS, etc. •    Familiarity with cloud-native runtimes such as Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes •    Experience with hyper scale infrastructure and services such as AWS, GCP, and Azure a plus
