Because it’s the best-run businesses that make the world run better and improve people’s lives.  We are seeking a Transformation and Planning Senior Associate, Engineering and CloudOps to join our Transformation and Planning organization located in South San Francisco, CA.  

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

POSITION TITLE: SAP iXp Intern- Business Operations and Planning LOCATION: (Virtual) EXPECTED START DATE TO END DATE: 6 Months 

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL: 

• Develop a deep understanding of our product development process, capacity and technical details. - Validate team’s output and technical design decisions against the product strategy and timeline 
• Contribute to product technology roadmap and business planning activities 
• Support program teams with business case development by quantifying cost impact of infrastructure build of material (BOM), software development activities, and IT service operation activities. 
• Drive and actively participate in engineering training and DevOps operating model improvement initiatives 
• Create an environment for continuous learning and improvement

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

• Demonstrated strong interest in enterprise software technology and human capital management (HCM) 
• Independent thinker with both technical background and business perspectives - backed by data and structured analysis 
• Intellectual curiosity in building and supporting innovation technologies 
• Business acumen to connect technical impact with strategy and accounting knowledge  
• Data analytics skills – can create pivot table, run basic regression, and construct SQL statements 
• Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills.  
• Strong execution orientation – find creative ways to get questions answered and thing done  
• Be a responsive and dependable source of information in a fast paced, multi-functional environment

DESIRABLE ADDITIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:  

• Experience with Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) and enterprise Software-as-a-Service(SaaS) cloud delivery model   - Experience with enterprise SaaS business model, sales process, customer segments, and market analysis  - Experience with Agile, Scrum methodologies

QUALIFICATIONS 

• 0-2+ years of software engineering or related consulting experience  - Information System Management OR Computer Science degree 
• MBA or business degree a plus
