ABOUT THE TEAM

Intelligent Transformations Task Force (ITTF) team helps customer’s Digital Transformation strategy by empowering next generation technologies such as SAP Business Technology Platform topics, Industry Cloud, and Business Process Intelligence.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Business Technology Platform Developer

Location: Newtown Square, PA

Expected Start Date: June 2022

Contract Duration: 6 months

In this role, you’ll:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the software with a focus on BTP Innovations and Industry Cloud Extensions
• Propose and compare design and technology options with technical leads
• Involve in BTP Intelligent Technologies prototyping efforts
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
• Develop applications using modern cloud-native technologies
• Look to leverage our SAP internal platform and tools
• Investigate technology options in-line with SAP’s overall technology direction

WHO YOU ARE

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• 2-3 years demonstrated meaningful work experience as a professional front-end software engineer
• Strong Programming skills in JAVA, Javascript with OData and REST (MANDATORY SKILL)
• Experience in Business Technology Platform Runtimes (Cloud Foundry & Kyma)
• Experience in SAP  Automation projects  
• Experience in BOT building frameworks such as SAP Conversational AI; Hands-on
• experience with the technical integration of chatbots into business information systems of record, such as SAP S/4HANA
• Any functional experience in SAP Logistics and Manufacturing will be a plus
• REST or OData interfaces with the proven ability to implement OData APIs and apply these technologies in enterprise system integration scenarios
• Experience developing applications using SAP Process Automation
• Strong knowledge of modern front-end technology stacks along with proficiency in basics of Phython, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (mandatory skill)
• Experience building web APIs and API-first design principles. E.g. Swagger, OData, REST API
• Strong experience developing in an agile team using Git, GitHub or GitLab
• Experience in BTP Platform Topics (UX, Security, Integration)
• Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
