ABOUT THE TEAM 

The Attack Surface Reduction Team is overall responsible for the Enterprise Vulnerability Management capabilities of SAP. The team reports directly into the CISO of SAP, within the Global Cyber Defense & Design organization. The Global Cyber Defense & Design organization is a part of the SAP Global Security Organization within the Office of the CEO.

The SAP Global Cyber Defense & Design Team enables us to develop the necessary digital resilience and appropriate responses to counter threats to our business. The team covers operational tasks in the areas of prevention, detection, and elimination of threats within our global security framework. This allows us to develop the necessary resilience and countermeasures to keep pace with rapidly developing and growing external threats. SAP Global Cyber Defense and Design ensure that our customers, products, and services are delivered consistently and with distinction while maintaining availability, integrity, and confidentiality.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

POSITION TITLE: SAP iXp Intern – Detection and Advisory Service (Cyber Security)   LOCATION: Newtown Square, PA or East Coast based Virtual (remote)  EXPECTED START DATE TO END DATE: January 2023 – June 2023 (40 HR/week requirement)  

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL:

• Assist in Web Application Scanning iterative rollout
• Assist with research on Scan scope automation
• Document job duties to support rolling support model of early talent rotation system

WHO YOU ARE:

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• The selected candidate must be in pursuit (or recently completed in the past 3 months) of a BS or MS in Cyber Security (or related field)
• Students in their last year of study are preferred 
• Basic understanding of IPv4 networking is required
• Strong communication and documentation skills are required
• Facility with MS Office suite is required 
• Python scripting experience is preferred but not required
• The selected candidate must be available to work 40/hours per week for a 6-month term starting in January 2023
• This role is available for remote students located in the East Coast time zone.
