ABOUT THE TEAM:

As a Intern, Developer, you will be working with a team thinkers, executioners and many more to develop cutting edge, state-of-the-art SaaS applications. You are part of a global team, with peers in 12 different locations worldwide. You will be working in a flat hierarchy Agile SCRUM environment with development responsibilities that span across all layers of the application. You can clearly communicate your ideas and both openly and honestly provide and receive regular input from your peers. While teamwork is of the utmost importance, you can also work independently with minimal supervision, and take the initiative to constantly keep yourself engaged. Also, you never settle for second best. You possess a strong focus on quality and attention to detail, and possess the ability to quickly understand and solve unique and even undocumented programming problems. Naturally curious, you have a penchant for and drive to quickly learn and master skills in new technologies.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• TITLE: SAP IXP INTERN – DEVELOPER
• LOCATION: PALO ALTO, CALIFORNIA
• INTERNSHIP DURATION: JUNE 8, 2020 (OR SOONER)

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL:

• Focus on design, coding, testing, quality assurance of specific product features in a development team.
• Develop code modules across all tiers including OO JavaScript/HTML5 based front-end, Java middle tier and HANA back-end for Web/Mobile applications.
• Have can and will-do attribute to meet deadlines.
• Hack your way into different technology stack and deliver results
• Automate testing for better quality result
• Follow standard application development standards and best practices as well as those tailored to our internal development environment
• Willing to adapt to the changing work environment in a positive manner and to show a flexibility with regards to the role and working pattern taking into account business need.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Object oriented programming, Database and Java (related technologies
• Logic and solving problems
• Designing and executing.
• Being supporting and accommodating
• Adopting and Improvising
• Currently pursuing either a Bachelors/masters/PhD in relevant field
• Gained more than 1 year of experience in Java web development
