    ABOUT THE TEAM

     

    The Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Communications intern will support the global D&I in building and implementing the company-wide internal and external communications focused on diversity, equity and inclusion. This person will be required to support in creating and maintaining the content, and platforms to elevate the internal comprehension of SAP’s commitment to D&I.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO

     

    Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Diversity and Inclusion Communications Specialist

    Location: Virtual US

    Expected Start Date: January 2022

    Contract Duration: 6 months

     

    In this role, you’ll:

     

    • Shape, build, and keep content current on company’s internal SharePoint portal
    • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders internally to gather information and support developing and creating content for the global D&I newsletter
    • Support the Global Diversity and Inclusion Team to expand their presence on social media via blogs and social posts
    • Collaborate with Global Communications, HR Communications, and Marketing functions to ensure the incorporation of the D&I content into broader communications
    • Support D&I communications lead in executing some of the communication initiatives per the 2022 plan
    • Conduct market research and channels analysis

     

     

    WHO YOU ARE

     

    We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

     

    Excellent communication skills including: 

    • Fluent in both oral and written English 
    • Storytelling skills aimed at employees 
    • Understands how to message across different lines of business and cultural boundaries 
    • Able to turn ideas and concepts into visually relevant and effective collateral 
    • Understand and can implement change management/communications initiatives 
    • Excellent Word, SharePoint and PowerPoint skills. Basic Excel skills 
    • Project management skills 
    • Video creation skills a plus 
    • Research and analysis experience a plus
    • Enthusiasm and professionalism 
    • Self-motivated 
    • Organized, detail-oriented and can manage time effectively with top-notch prioritization skills 
    • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
    • Must be currently enrolled or graduating from an undergraduate or graduate program and available to work 40 hours per week – Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or English preferred
