    ABOUT THE TEAM

    Global Strategic Segments is a global organization responsible for more than 30% of SAPs revenue and represents our Platinum accounts, Strategic Customer Program, and Private Equity organization. The business includes multiple Managing Partners, Global Account Directors, and Relationship Managers. The primary mission of Global Strategic Segments is to lead strategic customer engagement with differentiated customer experience, grow SAP wallet share through business development focused on co-innovation programs, big rocks, and customer value creation, and drive industry-focused innovation and purpose-led initiatives that increase SAP’s relevance beyond ERP.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

     

    As part of the Global Strategic Segments team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in online journalism. You will learn about both the editorial and technical aspects of creating and managing various multimedia online publications targeted at a global audience. You will get insight into and support a variety of projects targeted at informing and engaging various audiences. 

     

    POSITION TITLE: SAP iXp Intern – Global Strategic Segments Digital Journalism LOCATION: Newtown Square – please note that roles will be remote until local guidelines ensure safe office reopenings EXPECTED START DATE TO END DATE: August 30, 2021 - February 25, 2022  

    IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL:

     

     

    • Editorial support for the Global Strategic Segments team
    • Technical support (e.g. content upload, editing, and publishing through our set of content management tools);
    • Editing, translating, and proofreading of texts, articles, blogs, and newsletters;
    • Research for and writing of blogs, articles, etc on Global Strategic Segments related topics;
    • Project support

     

    WHO YOU ARE:

     

    We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

     

     

    SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

     

    • Computer skills: MS Office
    • Blog and article writing experience
    • Language skills: fluent in English, excellent English writing and editing skills

     

    OTHERS:

    • Self-motivated, proactive, creative and team-oriented
    • Video editing skills (Adobe Premiere Pro) are a plus
    • Editorial experience is a big plus

     

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (DEGREES, CLASS COMPLETION, ETC.)

     

    • Currently enrolled as a junior or senior student at a university
    • Preferred fields of study: Journalism, Creative Writing, Languages, Communications, Business Administration, Marketing

     

    QUALIFICATIONS: Requires candidates to currently be enrolled in an undergraduate, Masters's, MBA, or Ph.D. degree program which is applicable to the position.
