    ABOUT THE TEAM

     

    The SAP Industries and Customer Advisory (ICA) organization brings together the Presales, Industry Value Advisory and Industries teams.  Based on the deep understanding of our customers’ industries and working closely with our partners, we offer advisory act as trusted advisors to SAP customers worldwide. We provide clear guidance, roadmaps, and demos that help customers understand how to maximize value from their SAP solutions and improve their core processes. We are also constantly innovating and sharing industry best practices which companies can use to transform into Intelligent Enterprises. Ultimately, it allows them to provide better experiences for their customers and be more resilient to evolving industry trends and market conditions.

     

    WHAT YOU’LL DO

     

    Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Industries and Customer Advisory

     

    Location: Virtual US

     

    Expected Start Date: February 2022

     

    Contract Duration: 6 months

     

    In this role, you’ll:

     

    We are looking for a motivated and curious student (f/m/d) who wants to join the Industries & Customer Advisory (ICA) COO and Transformation office as an intern for 6 months+ to drive strategic projects for the ICA president and the ICA organization. You will support the ICA COO & Transformation team, a small, diverse, high performing team with members from top management consulting companies (eg BCG, Bain, McK, …) and experts with strong background in relevant business domains. Your specific tasks include: 

    • Support all aspects of problem solving and strategy formulation including: identifying issues, forming hypotheses, designing and conducting analyses and synthesizing conclusions into recommendations 
    • Support the launch and adoption of the SAP Industry Cloud Program
    • Support work on high-profile engagements along with SAP senior management and on decision proposals for the SAP Executive Board 
    • Conduct sophisticated business and financial analyses
    • Gather knowledge on new subject matter from across a range of source

     

    WHO YOU ARE

     

    We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

     

    • Enrolled student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
    • Preferred fields of study: Business Management, Economics, Business Informatics
    • Computer skills: Advanced MS Office Suite knowledge (focus on PowerPoint and Excel)
    • Language skills: fluent in English, German as a plus
    • Ability to work independently and in a proactive, structured manner with a hands-on, reliable working style
    • Strong communication skills, flexibility and motivated to work in an international and intercultural team
    • Willingness to learn and collaborate
    • Responsibility and ability to drive topics open-mindedly and focused on the end-result
    • Others: Previous SAP or consulting experience would be highly appreciated
