Mission of the Industry Business Units are to run, grow, connect and transform businesses that operate in a world where digital meets physical and consumers are changing how they engage with brands. The Industry Business Unit Retail (IBU) enables SAP to be a leading catalyst and operator of industry networks across a variety of B2C processes.  Our team is reimagining what it means to be a retail business, and it is the preferred destination for people who aspire to re-imagine industries and bring innovation to retailers around the globe.

Our role is to help retailers in the fast-moving, global marketplace to better innovate, compete, and stay relevant. This includes research on strategy, market trends, and competition.

Our team operates in a truly global fashion, with colleagues in every region of the world.  We rely on teamwork, collaboration, and best practices for interaction to bring the best insights and expertise to our customers and colleagues within SAP.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Industry Business Unit, Retail

Location: Tempe, AZ or Remote/Virtual US

Expected Start Date: September 2022

Contract Duration: 3 to 6 months

• Collaborate with industry experts to support the development of marketing materials and thought leadership deliverables
• Research market trends and the competitive landscape to provide insights to industry colleagues
• Prepare presentation content on research findings
• Document retailer success stories and best practices to support industry experts
• Describe software solution capabilities and value generated for retailers
• Create marketing materials and deliverables to support pipeline generation and customer demand generation

WHO YOU ARE

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Understanding of retail industry processes
• Experience in digital collaboration tools like MS Teams, Zoom, Mural or similar
• Ability to create creative and engaging presentations and concepts
• Experience with MS office like Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Basic knowledge with market research and analysis of trends
• Experience with Social Media channels
