What you’ll do

As an Integrated Communications Intern, you will work on a cross-functional team to create communication materials while adhering to SAP’s overall brand strategy and style. You will be tasked to work on a variety of projects including:

• Produce a monthly newsletter that reaches 5,800 colleagues across multiple board areas. Some writing and editing will be required.
• Create syndicated written content that will be featured in internal newsletters featured regionally and globally.
• Curate content and manage our internal communication channels in SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, etc. to ensure a steady flow of program and partner news and content across our teams.
• Support social media activities.
• Schedule and track project tasks for the team as needed (great for gaining project management experience) and communications metrics to help us measure and improve.
• Participate in and help drive team initiatives to evaluate and develop new and creative communication formats.
• Support communications by managing our event invitations, mailing lists, mailboxes, and feedback channels.
• This role offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to work remotely!

What you bring:

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

This position requires a candidate who has:

• A background in Communications, Journalism, or Marketing.
• Fluency in English, with strong writing and editing skills as demonstrated by a cover letter and, if available, 1-3 samples of writing (e.g., blogs, published articles, and school compositions).
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools – Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Social media savvy, especially with LinkedIn and Twitter, as well as familiarity with Instagram and TikTok.
• Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments and follow through on commitments.

Not required, but would be taken into consideration:

• Prior work experience, e.g., working at SAP, newsletter production, feature writing, etc.
• Experience with video editing and design.
• Conversational or written competency in a language other than English.

Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15-62 USD.
