    What you’ll do

    Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Marketing Operations

    Location: Remote-Virtual US

    Expected Start Date: August 2023

    Contract Duration: 12 months

    Work Hours: 40 hours per week

    As a Marketing Operations Intern, your primary responsibility will be to support the MarTech Optimization and Processes team in executing strategic projects and initiatives that drive real business impact. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation and delivery of marketing campaigns, processes, and systems. This is not a supplemental role involving data entry or administrative tasks; instead, it offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to our marketing operations and play a key role in shaping our overall marketing strategy.

    • Responsible for promptly addressing tickets and assigning to the correct owner and ensuring tickets are actioned according to agreed upon SLAs
    • Respond to high level tickets educating requesters on lead nurture, scoring, and routing processes, so they understand how campaigns are processed
    • Respond to Wrike tickets regarding Marketo Access Requests and working with stakeholders to grant access to Marketo
    • Own additions, updates, and ensure compliance to folder structure, naming conventions, tagging structure, and channel structure conventions
    • Working with stakeholders to audit programs/campaigns to ensure operational efficiency and deactivate/archive programs/campaigns that are no longer in use
    • Ensure Marketo Production and Marketo Test Environments are consistent with one another in the Operational folder
    • Oversee campaign failure notifications from Marketo and work with IES and Marketo stakeholders to have tickets submitted with Adobe
    • Research up-to-date and emerging technologies and developments in the Marketing Ops field

    What you bring

    • Strong interest in marketing operations, data analytics, and technology
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
    • Basic knowledge of marketing automation platforms (e.g., CRM, Marketo) is a plus
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
    • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
    • Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a proactive attitude towards taking on new challenges
    • Previous experience or coursework in marketing, data analytics, or operations is preferred but not required
    • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and/or marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) would be beneficial
    • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Wrike) is advantageous
    • A creative mindset with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions
    • A passion for marketing and a desire to contribute to the success of a fast-paced, results-oriented team

    Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 15-62 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. SAP offers limited benefits for employees hired into hourly or like roles subject to appliable plan/policy terms.
