    Intelligent Data and Analytics is the trusted foundation of the Intelligent Enterprise for SAP.

     

    Leveraging SAP's latest technologies, we create a seamless experience to access trusted data across our system landscape and deliver smart insights to enable steering excellence at SAP.

     

    It is our mandate to ensure that accurate and unified information fuels insights beyond the ordinary, powering SAP as the Intelligent Enterprise.

     

    The Next Gen Analytics Intern will work with and support the Global Sales Organization stakeholder groups by building next generation analytics solutions using the latest technology and concepts.

     

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

     

    POSITION TITLE: SAP iXp Intern – Next Gen Analytics

    LOCATION: Alpharetta, GA

    EXPECTED START DATE TO END DATE: June 2020 -August 2020

    IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL:

    • Work with the Next Generation Analytics team to code cloud applications using SAP Analytics Cloud Application Designer
    • Will work with traditional analytics tools, and add in advanced scripting to build custom, complex applications using a rich set of capabilities
    • Reimagining the user interface (UI) toward improving and simplifying the customer experience
    • Understand how Predictive scenarios can be used to enhance the available analytics scenarios
    • Ability to gather business requirements and decompose them into technical requirements
    • Ability to create mockups to tell the story of how the application will look and function according to the business requirements
    • Desire to demonstrate and present outcomes either virtually or in person

  • Desired skills

    EDUCATION, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

    • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree with a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) related field of study at a university local to the Atlanta area with an anticipated graduation of 2022 or 2023
    • Experience in one or more programming languages (R, JavaScript, Python)
    • Good understanding of object-oriented programming
    • Exposure to Predictive algorithms and similar concepts
    • Exposure to programming and calling APIs
    • Strong organization, quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Exposure to Business Intelligence and/or Analytics a plus

    • Ability to assimilate complex ideas and detailed information into professional written, spoken and visual communications
