    WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

    We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic person that is committed to personal growth, serving others, and supporting people development in the Intelligent Spend organization. You will wear several hats in this role, but the common thread of all activity will be oriented around an authentic passion for people.

     

    You should have a high interest in people, culture development, and have an ability to build relationships with people. We are looking to positively influence and impact the culture of our organization.

     

    This is an important team in the organization to help ensure that our People Development Strategy is properly executed.  As a part of the People First Team, you will have the opportunity to build lasting relationships and collaborate with a multicultural team in a fun, supportive, and authentic environment.

     

     

    POSITION TITLE: People & Culture iXp Intern – Intelligent Spend (ISBN)

    LOCATION: Chicago, Ill (based in Chicago, but Remote until local guidelines deem it safe to return to office)

    EXPECTED START DATE TO END DATE: February – May 2021

     

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

     

    Focus on Culture and Change for a Global organization that focuses on Human Capital and contingent workforce as a solution:

    • Assess and suggest programs that could bring positive employee experiences and development to this Global Unit.
    • Execute employee events that help them thrive as well as build out our People & Culture Ambassador program over the iXP journey.
    • Learn about SAP Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and implement groups and events where there is opportunity.
    • Take the SAP sponsored “Growth Mindset” Course and learn about the SAP Coaching program to recommend and implement.
    • Support H & WB Initiatives needed for Healthy Work/Life Balance and integration.
  • Qualifications

    WHO YOU ARE:

     

    We’re looking for someone who can challenge the status quo and likes to stay curious. You enjoy working on meaningful projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

     

    • Junior or Rising Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in organizational development, marketing or communications are preferred. 
    • Interested in a Career that focuses on solving a prospects process or organizational challenges
    • Better than basic Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, and Outlook Skills\Experience with Microsoft Excel; data entry, some analysis (desired)
    • Knowledge of Social Media Platforms used in Business Marketing is a plus (Linked In, Grapevine 6, Twitter, Instagram)
    • You have strong communication skills, both written and oral
    • Ability to research, summarize findings and present to the team at least once every 3-4 weeks during the experience for your learning and development.

    • You are communicative, open, authentic and candid
    • You have a great attitude and a strong eagerness to support the team
    • You also have interest or studies in courses in People Development, Knowledge around Workforce or HR environments, Leadership, or Human Capital.
    • Research on health and wellbeing; work-life balance or work-life integration.
    • Interest or knowledge around Gen Z entering the workforce.
