    About the team

    The SAP Academy for Presales functions to create the next generation of Presales professionals trained in the most current skills, techniques and methodologies.  Our multi-dimensional, experiential learning program harnesses the collective intelligence of our associates and combines that with the skills, resources, and  knowledge of our dedicated global faculty, subject matter experts, external speakers, and internal support.

    SAP Presales Academy is a 12-month program, and in 2023, there will be one class of 72 participants. The class will start with a 6-month virtual classroom session commencing in April 2023. Upon successful completion of the virtual classroom training curriculum, the class will graduate to a field rotation for the second 6-month period. During the field rotation the associates will be working in a hands-on capacity with their mentors and coaches. They will participate to selling opportunities while continuing with on-going trainings coordinated by the Academy.

     

    What you’ll do:

    Position Title: SAP Academy for Customer Success - Presales

    Program Internship (PARC Team)

     

    Location: Virtual

    Expected start date: ASAP

    Contract Duration: 6 Months

    Full-time or Part-time: 40 hours/week

    Open to Remote / Virtual: Yes

    In this role, you’ll:

    • Key in coordination of key stakeholders in the recruiting process for our next class of early talent. This includes interacting with Talent Attraction, Presales Academy leadership, Presales Academy Regional Champions and Presales field leadership
    • Assist the Presales Academy Regional Champion Team (PARC) in program coordination, development and delivery of on-going development initiatives such as Foundation Building, Regional Alignment, Career & Leadership Development and Lifelong Learning.
    • Leverage and build your SAP network to enrich the post-Academy experience for our associates
    • Act as evangelist for Presales Academy in the business, pro-actively establish and continuously facilitate network and build further ambassadors.
    • Drive innovation of learning concepts and foster a continuous learning culture.

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • BS or Master’s degree in Business, Communications, Technology, or related area of study

     

    DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE INCLUDE:

    • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Desktop tools: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.
    • Familiarity of social business practices and tools: Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
    • Knowledge of HTML and the use of an HTML editor (i.e., Microsoft FrontPage) is a plus
    • Previous project management work also a plus

     

    NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE INCLUDE:

    • Solid business and technical aptitudes
    • Excellent organizational skills; must be able to manage and execute multiple tasks / projects simultaneously
    • Professional persona; must be confident in all phases of the work you do
    • Strong communications skills, oral and written and solid interpersonal skills; being comfortable when with speaking with colleagues and managers.
