ABOUT THE TEAM

In North America Solution Advisory, we foster a supportive team environment and work as integral members of SAP account teams which serve our customers. The People & Transformation team drives internal communications, initiatives and programs to ensure the North America Solution Advisory team members have everything they need to excel in their roles.  Our team shines doing what they love to do – help people and tell stories…with PASSION!  As a member of this team, you will be empowered and supported to do what is right for our internal customers while driving essential data analysis and reporting efforts.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Solution Advisory

Location: Virtual but within driving distance to one of these SAP Offices: New York, NY / Chicago, IL / Newtown Square, PA / Atlanta, GA

Expected Start Date: July 2022

Contract Duration: 6 to 12 months

This internship will support the People and Transformation Office for Solution Advisory to help us refine our data analysis and reporting practices. You will collaborate with various stakeholders and the Leadership Team to drive strategic initiatives through comprehensive data analysis and reporting projects.  Your personal insights, experiences, and perspective are all important to us and we hope you will bring your creativity and can-do energy to the team as well.

During your internship you will use your business and financial acumen to:

• Drive insights and recommendations through data analytics
• Take complex data and synthesize it into meaningful and coherent stories and presentations
• Use excellent business judgement, problem-solving and project management skills to influence the successful management of our team
• Learn to work with virtual teams across multiple time-zones while completing projects under tight deadlines

Your experience with Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and experience with databases will provide the foundation for success.

You have prior experiences with complex Excel analysis and as a plus have familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Power BI or SAP Analytics Cloud (or are willing to learn on the job).

Some knowledge of SAP and its core offerings as well as experience in the technology sector is preferred. 

Software/Other Proficiencies

• Microsoft Office Professional suite with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
• Microsoft Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud or similar analysis tools
• Mural (will provide instruction)
• Ability to work virtually in a fast-paced environment and a quick learner
• Strong interpersonal skills and a professional image
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and projects
• Ability to work independently. Self-guided and motivated.
• Strong project management and critical thinking skills
