What you’ll do:

Position title: SAP iXp Intern - User Experience Designer

Location: Newport Beach, CA / remote - Pacific Time Zone

Working hours: 20 - 40 hours/ week

Expected start date to end date: September 2023

What you will do on a regular basis

As we are a startup-like environment, a wide variety of tasks and a dynamic work environment are given. Cross-functional collaboration and clear communication is a key to success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operations related to the design team activities such as setting up workshops, team meeting preparations, tracking UX metrics, and maintaining wiki pages
• Support ongoing projects as needed, including assisting with the creation of team presentations in Figma and PPT using a presentation design system.
• Support user research efforts with recruiting and payment of participants, helping with research plans, analysis, and synthesis, assisting with maintenance of research artifacts and adherence to standard formats and frameworks
• Assist team members with mockups and design prototypes from low to high fidelity as needed
• Support in video creation for internal and external projects, such as product pitch videos, enablement sessions, etc.

Requirements

• Pursuing or a recent graduate of a college degree program, our program can hire within 6 months after graduation
• Ability to show examples of your work in the interview process
• Solid organizational and analytical skills
• Experience with modern design tools such as Figma and/or Sketch
• Hands-on attitude and proactive with verbal and written communication
• Basic understanding of user experience design, user research, and synthesis methodologies
• Proactive self-starter that can navigate through ambiguity
• Nice to have: experience with video editing tools, Airtable and PowerPoint

Consumer Industries Cloud is hiring a User Experience Designer Intern to help create cloud-native enterprise products, working closely with the team in Newport Beach, California and Montreal, Canada offices. The intern will be a member of the user experience team working on a variety of projects across UX design, UX research, and team operations.

Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 15-62 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
