    THE OPPORTUNITY

    As the Sales Operations Analyst at Xactly Corporation, you will help with order management, data and financial modeling and analysis, and reporting to support strategic and go to market decision-making for North America at a fast growing technology company. We are seeking an energetic, motivated, and articulate team player who is passionate about sales operations and excited to evangelize the Xactly vision.

    This role will be cross-functional, supporting Xactly's Sales, Marketing, Partner, Lead Gen, and Finance organizations. Success in the role requires a team player approach, ability to work across organizations with disparate needs, creativity and original thinking to proactively identify new and different approaches to analyzing data, and to synthesize multiple information sources to generate fresh strategic insights.

    THE TEAM

    Xactly's Sales Operations team is a tight-knit and growing team, looking to expand and add individuals with diverse backgrounds. Our team's goal is to increase sales effectiveness by putting in place the proper systems, process, data and insights in order to improve productivity, and we don't take that responsibility lightly.

  • Qualifications

    THE SKILL SET

    • 3-4+ years of sales operations or analyst experience preferred; prior SaaS experience required
    • Extensive Hands-on experience with normal Sales Ops functions from building quotes, cleaning data, and maintaining the day-to-day tech stack for the North American sales region
    • You are comfortable working with all levels in the organization (rep to C-Suite)
    • You have the ability to self-start, project-manage and administer important projects and programs
    • You have outstanding organizational & analytical skills and ability to navigate databases of information
    • Experience doing data analysis, modeling, and/or financial analysis to support business decisions.
    • Able to synthesize many threads of information to generate strategic insight
    • You're proactive, creative, entrepreneurial and results-oriented
    • You are able to prioritize requests based on importance and timing
    • You have a passion for learning and sales operations
    • Experience with Salesforce.com required. SQL and data analytic platforms (Domo, Tableau, etc) a big plus
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred

    WITHIN 1 MONTH, YOU'LL:

    • Get your bearings and begin to build a strong foundation, upon which to grow
    • Build relationships with internal business partners including Marketing, Alliances, Lead Gen, Sales, and Finance
    • Receive administrative training on all internal tools including salesforce.com and the rest of the sales tech stack
    • Gain a strong understanding of Revenue Performance Management space and the business challenges Xactly solves

    WITHIN 3 MONTHS, YOU'LL:

    • Have a strong understanding of the business, and begin teaching us a thing or two we don't know
    • Have a strong understanding of order management, data hygiene situation, what we have in place for data analysis and reporting so support strategic and operational decision making
    • Begin performing analysis to identify trends and uncover useful insights for the North American org
    • Present findings and support cross-functional operational teams in improving operational execution and business strategy in the areas of Sales, Marketing, Alliances, Lead Gen, and Finance
    • Proactively identify new and different approaches to analyzing data, and to synthesize multiple information sources for fresh insights
    • Work with existing sales reps, managers, and new hires to gain feedback on programs and training - reporting back to leadership
    • Work closely with marketing to facilitate continuous enhancement of our addressable market customer/prospect & market databases and conduct potential addressable market expansion research.
    • Collaborate with Sales Enablement organization to plan and deploy effective end-user training to ensure successful change

    WITHIN 6 MONTHS, YOU'LL:

    • In addition to the above, begin to implement the vision for change/impact that you have been developing over the past 6-months
    • Analyze current sales operations content and create an action plan to keep relevant
    • Have specific US reporting pack built out matched to all aspects of the cadence
    • Provide analytics and reporting for the sales team, including forecasting, pipeline analysis, quarter and year end reports, board slides, performance to quota, deal tracking, funnel growth, funnel velocity, close rates, and more.
    • Develop, implement and continually improve processes and procedures for effective and efficient team operations.

    WITHIN 12 MONTHS, YOU'LL:

    • At 12-months, you will be seen as a well-versed, trusted advisor and expert, making a significant positive impact company-wide
    • Report, track, and share productivity measurements with sales leadership
    • Have a complete understanding of each function; use this information to develop the North American and Global operations strategy
    • Identify further personal education opportunities to increase your business and instructional acumen
    • Ability to leverage technical background and prior experience in use of data and systems (e.g., databases, data warehouse and query technologies) to help frame and conduct analyses required to deliver data driven decision-making.
