ABOUT THE TEAM

SAP Global Security is an essential unit on the way to become a trusted Cloud market leader. We are responsible to protect SAP’s brand, people, assets, intellectual property, customer data, and information technology from misuse or comprise.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Global Security Early Talent Program is a two-year program designed for high-performing early career professionals (up to 3 years of previous work experience in a professional setting) with an understanding of information technology and security topics.

All participants start the program with their first rotation in their respective home location at the SAP US headquarters (Newtown Square, PA) and will spend at least one rotation abroad at the SAP global headquarters (Germany). The six months abroad, either in the US or in Germany, will be fully covered by the Global Security Early Talent Program. After completing the Security Rotational Program, participants will move into a new full-time role within the SAP Global Security organization that best matches their skills and interests.

Ideal candidates are flexible, open-minded, and motivated to develop their security skills in depth. Successful applicants have the unique opportunity to participate in three carefully selected rotations in various SAP Security divisions at SAP. If you are a driven and independent individual, with the ambition for a career in cybersecurity, then bring your creativity, passion, and pioneering spirit to SAP and start your professional career with SAP.

WHAT WE OFFER

The Security Early Talent Rotational Program includes:

• 2 years in duration, divided into three rotations of various security divisions, such as:Cyber defense & design
  • Security risk & compliance
  • Chief trust office
  • Physical security
  • Product security
• At least one rotation will be abroad
• Onboarding event at SAP headquarters to learn about SAP as a company and the Security organization (Ideally in Germany, however, due to the COVID pandemic and concerns over your health and safety this event likely will be in a virtual or hybrid setting)
• On-the-job training supported by experienced security experts in all areas of security across SAP
• Supervision by a personal mentor
• Opportunities to participate in workshops and trainings to acquire new skills (soft skills, software-based skills, security trainings, etc.) in addition to area-based topics and mentoring

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Forensics, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or other relevant field from an accredited institution
• Strong analytical skills
• Proven technical ability through coursework and/or work experience to manage technical systems and analyse network, end point, application, and identity data for signs of malicious activity
• Strong desire to achieve results and improve efficiency and effectiveness of the aim to improve SAP’s security posture, for the benefit of our customers and employees
• Excellent spoken and written communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills 
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
