    THE OPPORTUNITY

    As the Senior Content Marketing Manager at Xactly Corporation, you'll play a key role in executing against our content marketing strategy to help drive interest, understanding, and inspiration for our customers and the market we support. You will be a key part of the team, bringing your experience with writing, video and content distribution to our content mix to help create engaging, exciting work that helps Xactly's story stand out in the market. You'll have a hand in a variety of content media including videos, blogs, ebooks, and presentations - and you'll keep an eye out for new formats to reach the right audiences.

    You'll work with a great team to develop content experiences that increase awareness, attract new visitors, speak to users, and engage partners. The goal is not just new customer acquisition and expansion - we want to create an authoritative, trusted source for information about the concept of Revenue Intelligence. To do that, you can't work in a silo - you'll work closely with product marketing, demand generation, product management, communications, and sales leaders to create content that's valuable to our audiences and keeps them coming back to Xactly for more.

    You will be responsible for:

    • Developing content ideas for our content calendar in collaboration with the rest of the team, then helping to executing against that plan
    • Working with Communications and Customer Marketing to create new ways to tell Xactly customer stories in ways that go beyond traditional case studies
    • Participating in analysis of top-of-the-funnel content performance and helping to develop plans to improve engagement and effectiveness.
    • Working with product marketing and product management to deliver a consistent experience for prospects and customers across their experience with Xactly
    • Bringing a "customer as the star" approach to content and consistently telling stories that our customers and future customers can see themselves in, and providing valuable ideas to help them run their businesses better.

    WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU'LL

    • Complete knowledge assimilation of Xactly's new positioning and message to the market, and an understanding of the audiences we work with
    • Complete hands-on training to gain foundational understanding of all products and departments that make up Xactly
    • Schedule 1:1s with content team members and marketing peers across all locations to gain a better understanding of overall department structure
    • Jump into the content creation process

    WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU'LL

    • Collaborate on calendar creation, especially around the development of unique assets to support guides, research reports and other "big rock" items
    • Work within the team to uplevel our video efforts.
    • Help with editing of content for all assets generated by the content team.
    • Have developed a strong relationship with the content team.
    • Provide suggestions to help strengthen content for demand gen and events programs and work to develop spin-off content from existing successful assets.

  • Qualifications

    THE SKILL SET:

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or business, or equivalent experience preferred
    • 5+ years of proven experience in content creation and content development, ideally in a sales tech or SaaS environment
    • Experience using video - created both in-house and through agencies - to tell marketing stories
    • Strong knowledge of the digital marketing landscape and emerging technologies and trends, especially in the social and mobile space as it relates to content
    • Experience delivering compelling, specific messaging for each stage of the buyer journey, creating an engaging customer experience as part of a broader engagement plan
    • Strong ability to build relationships with team members at all levels, along with effective interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
    • Experience with latest generation of experiential content and marketing methods for engaging audiences
    • Demonstrated qualities that strongly align with Xactly's culture of collaboration, innovation, open discussion of ideas & opinions, humility, and a focus on delivering real value

    Salary ranges allow for growth opportunities as the employee develops new skills, and/or hones current skills. Salary Range: $84,800, - 106,000 base salary + semi annual bonus
