What you’ll do:

• Work on the Concur Core Expense product with a focus on the Concur offerings for SMN businesses
• Develop, test, build and deploy new APIs in our micro services. We own what we deliver from writing the code to production support!
• Turn requirements into product: Work with Product Owners to understand customer needs and turn them into product.
• Contribute to an industry leading Spend Management Product. You will be involved in the development of a scalable and high performing spend management solution.

About the team:

As a member of the List Service Engineering team, you will help deliver a high availability, 24/7 List service. Concur’s expense management platform is experiencing terrific growth. In order for continued success we need to provide a new platform servicing list and list data. Our service needs to handle large volumes of list requests while constantly being upgraded to handle new workflows and scenarios utilizing list data. Our platform is a key component of Concur’s product delivery.

Who you are:

We’re looking for someone who can challenge the status quo and likes to stay curious. You enjoy working on meaningful projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

Position Requirements:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience developing with object-oriented programming languages including but not limited to Java and C#
• Working knowledge of RESTful APIs and Micro Services
• Working knowledge of SQL and RDBMS like MS SQL and MySQL
• Familiar with deploying to cloud platforms such as AWS
• Familiar with JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5
• Some experience with building production applications helpful
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple disciplines
• Desire to learn
