Operating across multiple sectors and with a high degree of independence, the Office of the CTO (OOCTO) sponsors TIBCO LABSTM which is an innovation program aimed at helping customers and partners understand how new tech can be utilized within their TIBCO ecosystem/environment. Working closely with experienced architects, this is a unique opportunity to gain exposure and deepen understanding of cutting-edge solutions.

Internships give students hands-on training and guidance in a real-world experience on meaningful projects with the guidance of a mentor. TIBCO’s OOCTO internship program seeks to combine a broad set of technologies to enable research, development and consumer-focused deliverables. These form the basis of high-impact assignments for the selected candidates.

These assignments will be formulated from the following focus areas:

• Application Development
• Development of new features
• Identification of new technologies
• Documentation

• Pursuing a BS or MS (preferred) in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering or related analytical field of study with graduate classes in IoT, Kafka, Eclipse Mosquitto (MQTT), machine learning, AI, data mining/management and/or statistics.
• Pride yourself on being an excellent communicator
• Classroom experience or better with a hands-on programming project experience
• Experience with programming languages such as GO, R, Python, JavaScript, TensorFlow and/or some experience with visualization tools such as Spotfire
• Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure IoT services
• Open source contributions are a plus
• Successful past internships at system software companies are a plus
