ROLE DESCRIPTION:

SAP supports 25 industries around the globe. The SAP Regulated Industries (RI) team supports thousands of complex, highly-regulated customers spanning: federal, state & local governments; healthcare, higher education & K-12; aerospace & defense; and utilities markets. As the INTERN OF RI STRATEGIC INITIATIVES, you will work with SAP colleagues to:

• Assist in designing data collection vehicles using SAP's Survey/Research tools to support strategic portfolio planning for 2021 and beyond, as well as track/report on program participation/results.
• Analyze business/pipeline performance by using SAP's leading Analytics tools and reports.
• Support synthesis of anecdotal information collected during interviews/discovery.
• Assist in building persuasive business cases to enable informed decision-making by leaders.
• Help create insight-driven, scalable, programmatic approach to address identified gaps.
• Engage in development of thought leadership assets to support business development initiatives.
• Project manage internal and customer-facing virtual meetings in support of the above.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

Preferable candidates have the following background:

• Previous internship/co-op experience in a business role.
• Experience working in a large, matrix, fast-paced organization.
• Proof of current enrollment or in an accredited graduate (PhD, MBA, Masters, etc.) program that is applicable to this position, or are in the summer immediately following graduation.

• Savvy. Strong analytical, Excel, and PowerPoint skills; fast learner of new technologies.
