    Strategic Project Coordinator to the CIO of a fast paced entrepreneurial healthcare IT company. This role has been created to work directly with Chief Information officer on projects to move the division and the company ahead, meeting project timelines and milestones. This individual will possess the following: Attention to detail, organizational skills, sense of urgency, ability to be proactive in working with CIO on various projects, and be able to build relationships.

    For the right candidate, this role can be a “dream” career. Additionally, this role could be an excellent career choice to help hone critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills while gaining valuable insights into full software development lifecycle. These skills are often a prerequisite for people wishing to pursue project manager roles, as a career track for example.

    Include but not limited to the following:

    • Assisting with the daily operations of the department.
    • Tracking multiple projects from planning to completion.
    • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date data, forms, or other material in department’s repositories, websites, tools, etc.
    • Developing digital reports, dashboards, or other output to help track status, or progress.
    • Helping to create and implement staff policies and procedures.
    • Drafting plans to Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of work procedures.

  • Qualifications
    • Previous work experience of which 1 – 2 years of work experience has been in role of similar responsibility (e.g. Account Manager, Project Manager, Executive Assistant, Project Coordinator, etc.).
    • Ability to work under pressure and track multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Ambition to take responsibility for assigned projects.
    • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
    • Cooperative attitude and the ability to learn quickly.
    • Ability to pay close attention to detail, especially proof-reading own – and others’- work.
    • Experience researching topics using document libraries, internet sources or other repositories.
    • Experiencing attending meetings and taking accurate notes, summarizing action items, distributing notes and following up to ensure committed actions are being completed.
    • Proficiency producing work products of high quality efficiently using Microsoft Office specifically MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS PowerPoint and/or equivalent suite.
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook for schedule meetings, respond to emails, manage calendar functions as a delegate for CIO.
    • Asks clarifying questions to confirm understanding of expected outcomes including due date, dependencies, priority, confidentiality level.
    • Very well organized when approaching work and able to complete assignments and tasks with limited supervision and direction.
    • Demonstrates appropriate level of discretion when working with confidential information or being privy to content of a sensitive or confidential nature
    • Four-year degree preferred.
    • Some understanding of software development lifecycle gained from prior experience working in commercial software company or technology department.
    • Some understanding of software problem management and escalation practices related such that you can use appropriate judgment in escalating matters appropriately.
    • Enjoys working at an energetic pace where there is opportunity to continually broaden knowledge and skills over working in a job where there is high degree of repetitive tasks.
