OFFICE LOCATION: NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA

PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE OF POSITION We are a group of finance professionals who partner closely with our North America sales leaders to deliver outstanding business results.  We would like to offer the opportunity for an internship with our group. This would be a great learning opportunity for the individual, as the role would cover a variety of topics including financial reporting, monthly/quarterly accounting, and ad-hoc deal support to our sales teams in the field.  

EXPECTATIONS & TASKS

• Provide support to market unit controllers to help improve efficiency of business tasks
• Help to create sales forecasts and perform budget variance analysis
• Prepare and analyze data and key metric reporting
• Support market unit controllers in the monthly closing process and reconciliation of revenue accounts
• Be actively involved in process improvement projects
• Provide day to day business partnership to the following teams: controlling, commercial finance, commissions, sales operations, and shared services

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to easily get acquainted with new IT landscape
• Good written and verbal language and communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Show accountability and think analytically
• Ability to work in a team
• Systematic and effective approach to work

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Student of a university, ideally in Accounting or Finance

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in controlling and accounting would be a plus
