THE OPPORTUNITY:
As a Support Content Writer at Xactly Corporation, working closely with the Support Enablement Specialist and the Community Manager and several key departments across the organization, you will uncover software documentation needs through customer use cases and translate these needs into new and updated content for the Support Enablement program and the Xactly Community. You can expect to learn about the field of Support Enablement, Customer Enablement, Product Documentation, and Customer Support focusing on the importance of supporting customers through the creation of exceptional reference content.
THE TEAM:
Xactly’s Support Enablement team is part of the larger Global Customer Support team. Our team is a tight-knit global team, looking to expand our capabilities and add efficiencies to processes. We are always looking for individuals with diverse backgrounds, the hunger to achieve, and the openness to learn new ways of communicating how to solve problems.
THE SKILLSET:
Desire to learn about Community platforms and the creation of documentation based on client use cases
Ability to read about or watch videos of complex technical software issues and document the resulting solution in an easy-to-understand format
Basic HTML knowledge and skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently
A passion for learning
WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:
Familiarize yourself with the Documentation, Community, and Enablement platforms
Identify potential content to help to enable internal and external customers
Assist with content translation workflow management
Be on your way towards establishing a cross-functional relationship with Product Management, Documentation, Customer Support, Professional Services, and Xactly University to develop required content
WITHIN TWO MONTHS, YOU’LL:
Made significant progress in the development of new and updated content for internal and external customers to help enable our customers and reduce support cases
Be comfortable working with the Documentation, Community, and Enablement platforms
Establish a strong working relationship across multiple departments
BY THE END OF YOUR INTERNSHIP, YOU’LL:
Complete work on a significant set of new content for internal and external customers
Make a measurable impact on the reduction of customer support cases and increased use of articles for case resolution
Develop skills in a number of platforms utilized for documentation, external communities, enablement, and translation
Create lasting contacts throughout the organization and feel very comfortable working cross-functionally

Pay: $19.80/hr
Final pay determinations, salary ranges and pay increases are established by the employer.
