The Talent Brand team at Snowflake is looking for a passionate and creative intern to join our team this summer. You’ll play a key role in connecting current and future employees to Snowflake’s mission, vision, and values by bringing to life the authentic experience of Snowflakes around the world. As a content creator, you will have the exciting opportunity to produce engaging short-cut style videos that showcase the vibrant culture and day-to-day experiences at Snowflake. You’ll develop creative concepts, design and produce cross-channel campaigns and develop real-world experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Storytelling: Develop an understanding of Snowflake's culture, values, and work environment. Use this knowledge to craft compelling narratives that highlight the unique aspects of life at Snowflake and showcase the experiences of our employees.
• Video Production: Plan, shoot, and edit short-cut-style videos that depict a day in the life of Snowflake employees. This will involve staying up-to-date on social media trends, capturing engaging footage, and combining it with music, graphics, and effects to create visually appealing and shareable content.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with employees across various departments and locations to capture authentic stories and testimonials.
• Social Media Engagement: Assist in the distribution of content across social media channels (i.e. Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter). Monitor engagement metrics and collaborate with the team to optimize content performance and reach a wider audience.
• Brand Consistency: Maintain a consistent visual style and tone of voice across all content, ensuring that it aligns with Snowflake's brand identity and guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing a degree in media studies, communications, film production, or a related field.
• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college/university program during the time of the internship
• Proficiency in video editing software.
• Strong storytelling, visual, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging and shareable content for social media platforms.
• Familiarity with social media trends and best practices.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

• The estimated pay range for this role is $26 - 30 per hour.

The successful candidate’s starting hourly rate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
