About the team

At SAP we help companies across the globe manage their business, and so huge amounts of data flow through our systems. The Intelligent Spend team is building analytic tools to help companies make sense of this data and make great decisions. Combining data from multiple sources means we work on analytics, big data, AI, and Machine Learning.

If you are an up and coming designer who is interested in working on analytics, big data, AI, machine learning and decision making, we want to talk to you. Expected start date: June 2022

Contract Duration: 6 months with potential of extension 

Open to Remote / Virtual: Yes

In this role, you’ll:

• Work with UX designers and product managers to
  • Understand the target user’s analytics task and overall task flow
  • Design beautiful visualizations to complete the task quickly with minimal assistance
  • Work with the development team to iterate on the implementation
  • Learn about different roles in companies, and what makes them successful
• A well designed set of visualizations will enable the target users complete their task better and more quickly, which is a key promise of SAP’s software

Who you are:

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

To be successful, you should:

• Have a desire to make your users highly productive
• Be working on a degree in design or a related field
• A portfolio that illustrates your mastery of design and effectively completing design projects
• Experience designing and prototyping for mobile and web.
• Expertise with common design tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe CC
• Expertise with Microsoft Office
