JOB SCOPE:

• Research: Understand & document pain points related to how various attention levels in a world of short-attention spans, affect online meetings and their associated collaboration efforts
• Strategy: identify design ideas to address specific pain points and/or experience opportunities
• Concept testing: Test ideas/concepts to a generic audience of meeting users
• Design: Produce wireframe designs flowing out the experience for the best testing concepts
• Usability testing: Produce usability test, with actions to be tested and test materials. Produce usability report summarizing usability results
• Finalize wireframes
• (Depending on candidate, optionally apply visual language and visual designs)
• Optionally, produce interactive prototype
• Produce final presentation demonstrating what you did during internship, the results of tests justification for designs and the final experience flow itself

• Freshman and Sophomore students need not apply.
• Strong design thinking skills and knowledge
• Background or education in design
• Background, education or interest in psychology/neuroscience
• Problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Self starter
• Design app capabilities/skills (eg, Sketch, Figma....)
• Ready for real world work

LEARNING SKILLS/OUTCOMES:

• Experience researching, testing, ideating and designing for a world class online meeting product
• Broader design experience than is often available at entry level design positions
• Wisdom and intelligence
• A positive experience with a collaborative and exciting team

• Full-time [10-week internship]
• Must be available to start either June 8th, 2021 or June 15th, 2021
