As part of the Cloud Delivered Security Services team (CDSS), you will work with a small team of amazing IoT device identification and security professionals to help identify, monitor and protect the ever growing number of Internet of Things devices in the ever expanding Palo Alto Networks customer base.

This is one of the fastest growing areas of cyber security today and we offer a great opportunity to help shape this relatively new landscape and make a real impact in securing the future of IoT.

YOUR IMPACT

As an IoT security software engineer, you will

• Develop and maintain IoT security engine software in our cloud-based software components

• Research Network Protocols and IoT Devices

• Collect and analyse network traffic

QUALIFICATIONS

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Working towards a Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related degree

• Strong programming skills in one or more programming or scripting languages, Java, Python, Go, or C/C++ are preferred

• General Knowledge of Computer networking

• Prior Experience with IoT devices is a plus

• Experience with TCPDUMP, Wireshark or similar tools is a plus

• Familiarity of cloud technologies is a plus

• Familiarity of network security is a plus

• Good communication skills, creative thinker and team player

• Curiosity and passion about Computer Networking and Security

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience required
