    YOUR CAREER

    The Public Cloud Business Development Associate will pursue non-linear growth for Palo Alto Networks (PANW) through closer and smarter collaboration with our cloud platform partners.

    We need an evangelist who can articulate to our sales teams the advantages of co-selling with GCP/AWS/Azure to expand and accelerate deals, as well as articulate the potential benefits to our customers. The Associatewill execute training, enablement and engagement activities for our sales teams, and support and coach them on specific transactions. They will also have consistent interaction and engagement with customers, channel, and ecosystem partners in support of sell-with activities with GCP/AWS/Azure.

    The Business Development Associatewill be part of the team that coordinates PANW sales activities and will be a central conduit for engagement between PANW’s sales organization and our cloud platform partners. This role will be cross-functional . The Associate will report to the Director of Public Cloud Sales, but will also have several dotted line coordination requirements with various other stakeholders within the partnership.

    The Business Development Associate will learn a deep understanding of GCP/AWS/Azurego-to-market strategies including, but not limited to co-selling, strategic planning and goal setting, channel programs, marketing campaigns, strategic events and funnel management.

    YOUR IMPACT

    • Manage joint sell-with and go-to-market activities with GCP/AWS/Azure

    • Speak toand enable PANW sales teams to work effectively with GCP/AWS/Azure sales teams to expand and accelerate deals and benefit our customers

    • Understand and articulate the GCP/AWS/Azure's strategic initiatives and leverage these to increase opportunities for GCP/AWS/Azure, PANW, and our partners

    • Build and maintain relationships with key personnel in GCP/AWS/Azure and facilitate engagement

    • Attend and participate in GCP/AWS/Azure events and seminars

    • Facilitate and drive co-selling opportunities, account mapping and other sales engagements between PANW’s field sales and GCP/AWS/Azure sales teams

    • Provide an escalation point for pre-sales and post-sales issues for any activity with the Public Google/AWS/AzureCloud

    YOUR EXPERIENCE

    • BA/BS Degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

    • Must have graduated any time between March 2020 - June 2022

    • 0-2 years of work experience

    • Familiarity with MS Excel or Google Sheets (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)

    • Public Cloud experience preferred (AWS, Google Cloud/GCP, Microsoft Azure)

    • Experience in Sales or Business Development is preferred

    • Demonstrated ability to work both in-person and virtually

    • Proven ability to manage a myriad of different disciplines and tasks in a high pressure, time sensitive environment

    • Strong communication (written and verbal), negotiation and presentation skills

    • Have a"Whatever it takes" attitude and motivation to do whatever necessary to assist in winning business

    • Ability to understand technical concepts; have enthusiasm for technology and be able to articulate clearly to all levels of technical aptitude

    • Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment

    • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)

    • Understanding of sales performance metrics

If hired in Colorado, this position starts at $25/hr. Depending on the position offered, restricted stock units and incentive or bonus pay may be provided as part of this compensation package.
