ACCOUNTING INTERN - Summer 2023

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with research, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records

• Shadow members of the Accounting departments as they perform their duties

• Work with our ERP software

• Learn how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company and/or clients

• Take on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations

DURATION:

• This internship would take place in the summer of 2023

• Recommended duration: 10-15 weeks

• Must have the ability to work 40 hours per week Monday-Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM for the summer

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be currently enrolled in a college or university Accounting or Finance program

• Experience with Microsoft Excel is highly preferred

• Satisfactory completion or introductory accounting / finance courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles

• Must be self-motivated, results-oriented, and possess attention to detail

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
