CLOSING/ESCROW

• Responsible for initial Contract and Addendum review (including final sales pricing and other terms).
• Ensure accuracy of Salesforce and Enterprise One Systems including sales commissions and Realtor Commissions.
• Assist with Loan Approval Documentation requests from the Sales staff.
• Distribution of executed contract documents to Sales, MTH Mortgage, Carefree Title Company, and Construction personnel.
• Build and maintain relationships with Sales staff, MTH Mortgage, Carefree Title and Construction team.
• Assist with review of all HUDS and closing documents before each closing.
• Follow up with buyer Cancelation documentation. Prepare check requests and vendor set forms for approval. Work with Corporate accounting to request refunds when appropriate.
• Work with MTH Mortgage division and Corporate personnel to ensure implementation of all mortgage programs.
• Work closely with Escrow Manager and serve as backup when necessary..
• Prepare Closing Packages
• Maintain and monitor key distribution to Construction team.
• Request re-starts through the Centralized Purchasing system on any homes with additions including spec homes. Follow-up with construction to make sure they have documents needed for vendors in a timely manner.
• Frequent contact with other departments, subcontractors, customer service reps and field construction personnel.
• WILL FLEX AND ASSIST OTHER DEPARTMENTS AS NEEDED.

• HS Diploma required
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an office support position
• Must have at least one (1) year of experience in homebuilding, real estate, lender or escrow fields
• Good understanding of the escrow process and documentation, including purchase documents, options selections, loan requirements and closing procedures
• Frequent interruptions; composition of documents and correspondence; scheduling; high level of interpersonal skills.
• Must be organized, detailed oriented.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with Peoplesoft and Constellation/Salesforce or similar database systems preferred

INTERPERSONAL/COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

• Strong written/verbal communication skills, proofreading skills, and telephone skills
• Excellent Interpersonal and Customer Service
• Personal maturity; position requires the ability to react and respond favorably, and communicate in a professional manner with confidence and tact
• Frequent interactions with a wide variety of other external and internal contacts with all levels of authority and responsibility
• Team Player; with a demonstrated ability to work within cross-functional teams
