RESPONSIBILITIES

Meritage Homes is looking for a Marketing Coordinator for our Southern California Division. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this person will focus on the implementation of division marketing support.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a marketing resource for the Marketing Manager and our SoCal Division.
• Support the Marketing Manager in planning the annual, quarterly and monthly marketing efforts to include incentive promotions, community marketing and agent outreach
• Coordinate the development and execution of all marketing collateral and campaign materials (print and digital); ensure adherence to brand standards
• Perform ongoing website audits and ensure content is accurate and up-to-date
• Assist with digital marketing initiatives (i.e., create and distribute eblasts and flyers, submit digital media request forms, etc.)
• Assist in the planning and execution of all consumer and agent events
• Participate in planning and execution of sales team meetings and events as well as divisional office events
• Assist in the new community opening process (planning, execution, follow-up)
• Support divisional, regional and national marketing initiatives including special projects as requested
• Responsible for administrative tasks including vendor set-up and legal set-up.
• Update and maintain tracking documents, calendars, Teams folders
• Manage digital content - matterports, videos, brochures, kiosks, photography

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
• 2+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in homebuilding or real estate, agency experience is a plus
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with strong attention to detail; ability to write creative and strategic copy with focus on community demographics, edit and proofread materials for grammar and content.
• Advanced computer skills with proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher), eblast systems, photo editing, website management; Adobe Creative Suite applications a plus
• Highly organized and flexible with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines, often with frequent interruptions and changing circumstances, in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment
• Strong team player with the ability to work well within cross-functional teams
• Flexibility to attend some evening and weekend events as needed
