ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyzes company spend through enterprise ERP (Vista) and credit card reports, identifying savings and agreement opportunities.

• Assist with quarterly reporting activities into ERP (Vista) for Purchasing Dashboard.

• Assist with Purchasing Dashboard improvement initiatives, including supplier diversity tracking, unmapped manufacturers, contracted vs. non-contracted spend, etc.

• Assists with planning, support materials, and supplier communications for Purchasing Summit Event.

• Supports RFP (Request for Proposal) process, to include obtaining pricing, completing quote comparison sheet and presenting recommendations / savings.

• Exercises initiative or, as directed, performs additional duties to meet the needs of the organization.

• Creates and uploads content to the company Intranet, including (but not limited to): agreement overviews, national supplier agreements, relevant trainings, quarterly reporting overviews, and monthly market intelligence data.

DURATION

• This internship would take place in the summer of 2023

• Recommended duration: 10-15 weeks

• Must have the ability to work 40 hours per week Monday-Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM for the summer

• Currently enrolled in a college or university Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related program.

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) preferred

• Must be self-motivated and results-oriented
