Your Responsibilities:

• We are offering an internship in process mining where data mining methods will be used to understand systems deployment processes from log files.
• The intern’s main tasks include: data cleaning, running machine learning and process mining methods to discover workflows from log data, compute KPIs, and prescribe workflow optimization actions.

• The ideal candidate will have prior experience in three or more of the following areas: data analytics, machine learning, process modeling, data mining, process mining, optimization theory.
• This position is best suited for a graduate student (PhD level preferred) in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or other related STEM disciplines.
• Strong database (structured and unstructured) and programming experience in Python, R, and/or Java is a must.
• Strong prior experience in process mining is highly desirable.
• Experience in web services, mobile application development is a plus.
• The candidate should be able to work within a team environment, self-motivated and able to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
