    JOB OVERVIEW

    TE Connectivity's Administrative Support Teams are responsible for office administration and daily clerical duties including basic schedule planning, travel arrangements, documentation, and file maintenance. Other responsibilities include scheduling conferences/meeting rooms and responding to general inquiries. They create and maintain office documentation and files and review drafts and finished internal/external communication documents.

    As a Procurement Center of Excellence (COE) intern, you'll have the opportunity to:

    • Lead productivity improvement projects

    • Benchmark and analyze internal and competitor part data to identify and prioritize supplier cost opportunities

    • Collaborate across multiple teams globally! Including procurement, engineering, supply chain and suppliers

    • Contribute to the development TE's processes, specifically cost standards and tools

    • Analyze manufacturing overhead including cycle times, components, assembly, inspection etc.

    WHAT YOUR BACKGROUND SHOULD LOOK LIKE:

    • Currently enrolled in an accredited University or College for the duration of the Internship

    • Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0

    • Working towards a bachelor's in engineering or supply chain

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PIVOT TABLES)

    • Motivated individual with a "can-do" attitude who is passionate about cost and data analytics

    • Interested in learning manufacturing processes, cost analysis/cost breakdowns and identifying gaps
