    INTRODUCTION

    We are looking for a project management co-op to join our design team at iRobot. You will play a key role in managing deliverables, timelines and project scope for varying design projects, with a focus in packaging design and development. You will work closely with a cross-functional group of stakeholders, including Design, Marketing, Product Management, Engineering and Quality and get exposed to a variety of roles and responsibilities across a product's lifecycle.

    *This co-op is full-time from end of August through December in our Bedford, MA office.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    • Integrate deliverables and timelines of outside design consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
    • Manage project scope and schedule to ensure key dates and deliverables align with engineering, business, and operations schedules.
    • Coordinate package prototype manufacture and testing schedules to align with multiple different product development schedules.
    • Work with packaging vendors to solve any issues revealed in prototype testing (broken components, scratched product, etc).
    • Coordinate across functional teams including engineering, design, operations, product management, marketing, manufacturing, logistics, and customer support to manage prototypes, deliverables, and schedules between teams.
    • Manage and track development and edits of User Manuals across all iRobot retail regions.
    • Establish program scope, schedule and deliverables, and ensure that commitments to the business are met.
    • Provide timely and accurate updates to senior stakeholders, encompassing all aspects of the project.
    • Manage project scope and schedule to ensure key dates and deliverables align with engineering, business, and operations schedules.
  • Qualifications
    • Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Engineering Management, Package design or other related field.
    • Highly organized with proven project management skills and superior verbal and written communication skills
    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment working with multiple team members
    • Able to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects, should have excellent time management skills
    • Ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task in an agile environment
    • An interest in robotics, consumer products and related industries
