Eight is looking for a graphic design intern to join our growing team. You will help the team ideate and create advertising campaigns, email marketing templates, and other materials to be used for customer acquisition.

Work alongside a talented team of marketers with over 20 years of combined industry experience, including a Chief Marketing Officer named by Forbes as one of the Under 30 power players in Consumer Electronics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create graphics and design layouts for app pages and features, e-mail campaigns, online promotions, and other communication materials as needed.
• Communicate with the marketing department and support campaigns with design solutions.
• Incorporate UI/UX best practices in mobile design, website design, and layout.

What we are looking for:

• Enrolled in a major university or college and pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Business or related subject.
• Proficient with Adobe suite tools (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Knowledge of Sketch a plus
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus
• Detail oriented self-starter with outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to handle pressure and work to deadlines
• Organized and capable of multitasking efficiently
• Ability to think critically and “outside the box”
